CELEBRATING THE VICTORY Allah (The Most High), tells us that fasting is for Him (SWT), and He (SWT) orders us to fast during the Sacred Month of Ramadan so that we may learn self-restraint and become more aware of the suffering that others are experiencing throughout the world, sometimes right around us; and, so that we may become conscious of the correct regard that we are to have for G-d (The Most High), thus making us more grateful for His (SWT) Mercy and Favors. |

“ARE YOU A CULTIVATED PLANT OR AN ENVIRONMENTAL WEED?” A plant is defined as an organism that grows in soil or water and has cellulose cell walls that utilize light energy to turn carbon dioxide and water into carbohydrates and oxygen. Plants are also characterized as cultivated and environmental. |

MEN AND WOMEN, DROP YOUR ANCHORS It’s not unusual to hear a sea captain say, “She’s taking her maiden voyage”, because sea-going vessels are typically referred to in the feminine gender. Before beginning a voyage, a good captain ensures that his vessel is well-maintained and has everything (in his estimation), that will enable the success of the voyage and the longevity of the vessel to make many voyages over its lifetime. |
